    state inspection question

If I am closed say January 2 and the state comes out to inspect if I have no children present are they allowed to come in and inspect the home?

Depends on the state. In WI we need to let our licensors know ahead of time when we'll be closed (thanks for the reminder!) I think we'd get a Noncompliance if a licensor came by for a visit and we said we were closed but didn't let them know ahead of time.

Just let them know that you are closed. IF they showed up after that, **I** would not let them in.
