This is in my neck of the woods. I think it's a foster care situation and they think the bio parents did/are behind the abduction.

I feel for that poor child and the foster parents who probably are just trying to to the best by the kids.

Just saw it this morning. I think there is also doubt about the story of the masked kidnappers. Seems that the family has a lot of issues.

Not sure why this struck me as much as it did - maybe because I have family in Albany county, or that I'm fairly local. Or that there are custody issues with one of my dck's and I have thought "what if" before. In any event I was hoping for a better outcome.
