Made ornaments with the kids yesterday

Pretty cute pinterest inspired idea. I painted their hands white and we pressed their handprints onto the bottom of the ornament. Then during nap time I painted their little snowman fingers, whole thing only cost me paint from the dollar tree for a dollar because I already had the ornaments.

Too cute! I still have the ornaments my kids made when they were little. I'm sure the parents will keep those for years!

I love these. We make them every few years. In fact I have plastic ornaments drying out right now (they were clear and we added blue paint to the inside) and will make these on Thursday.

Here is a little poem that I always put on a tag to go along with them:

These aren't just five snowmen
As anyone can see.
I made them with my hand
Which is a part of me.
Now each year when you trim the tree
You'll look back and recall
Christmas of 2014
When my hand was just this small!
