    Part Time/Full Time Rates

How do you determine part time vs. full time rates? How many hours?

I currently have a minimum which is equal to 25 hours and figure payments individually.
    Ex: a child is scheduled 32.5 hours/week so I charge them 32.5 x $Rate per week.

Part time is less than 20 hours for me. I charge a flat 65% of full-time rate for that. Full time is 20-45 hours. I charge a flat rate for that, as well. Over 45 hours is negotiated at enrollment at a higher rate.

I only charge p/t, per day. P/t for me is 2-4 days a week. I do not go by houre.

I was doing the daily thing and had too many complaints because parents want to switch days every week (even though I told them they couldn't) so I went back to one rate for 1-20 hrs and FT is 21 or more... the state of TN even has it's infant subsidy set at 19 or less as PT and 20 or more is full.

Part time here is contracted as set schedule only, otherwise I require you contract a FT position or try your luck with drop in (not happening most time as I have only 1 day open for one kid at moment and my Drop-in Foster mom has one of her 2 babies scheduled on that one Friday most time) The state cleared me to take these 2 until they reached 24 months, so they get first dibs weekly
