What do you do when a child bites another child? How do you treat the biter. What is the punishment. How many times before they are out the door? I have a dcb2 1/2 who is always using his teeth and his hands instead of his words I'm at an absolute loss of what to do. He bit dcg23 month today and I was just livid. I still am. Advice please.

I find being proactive to eliminate biting to be more effective than punishing after the fact, KWIM?
Kids who are biting are with me, and I'm between them and the other kids. I use hoola-hoops on the floor to designate where the kids need to be/stay while they play (no willy-nilly running all over the playroom business) If my eyes can't be on the kids (I'm using the bathroom or assisting someone with the bathroom) the kids are put "up" in spots. I have special toys for this times (and they only come out then, otherwise it won't be exciting:: )
I would be documenting, documenting, documenting, every time. What happened before the biting? How did the dck seem when they were dropped off? Have the parents had any concerns? Does DCK seem delayed in any areas? If the dck getting along with peers or being frustrated by them? Are there enough toys to go around? Are kids arguing over certain toys? If there too much free time? If there not enough outside time? What happened after the biting? How was it handled (Time out, parents called for notification or pick up, etc.)?
And you may have already done all that - I just find it helpful to be very self/program critical when I'm having a chronic issue as I can usually spot somewhere I can improve things. If it works, GREAT! If not, then I can term without remorse.- Flag
