    What Are Your Thanksgiving Plans,Traditions?

We are planning to go to the mountains and find out what cold weather is really about.
It get's like 20-40 degrees up there
and we are going to have our Thanksgiving dinner in a cabin
besides all the usual traditions we do we are trying something new

since we will be up there for 4 days I was thinking about doing some games like photo scavenger hunt ( make a list of differnt obejects or activities like take a picture of a squirrel, sing the national anthem while swinging on a swing at the park, bring mom a latte from starbucks,:: etc.)

anyways I am going to buy some itunes cards, little gifts, etc. and the first team to win will get to choose a prize, we will have second, third, etc.

since the forrest or woods is very unfamiliar to me, I am sorta at a loss as to what to put on the list.
    does anyone have any ideas?

Also, what are your traditions and plans for Thanksgiving?

I am 48 and this goes back as far as I can remember....:: My dad's side eats at 12 on Thanksgiving day atmom's house (my dad is deceased)....he has 3 sisters and their kids/grandkids which make up about 50 people! Then the following Saturday we meet at mom's side (mommaw's house) to eat...mom has 3 sisters and 1 brother with kids/grandkids and they are innumerable... I tell mommaw she needs a license to have Thanksgiving dinner in her house with that many kids....:: Then there is lots of shopping, hunting, sports watching, and laying around in between.::

Having a large extended families has it's joys but sometimes we all have to use our "tolerance" skills......lots of opinions even on simple things like purchasing a car, renovating a house, or just what to eat...:: BUT I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY!
