While this certainly works for many providers it's not the ideal choice for most of us. I, personally, feel extremely uncomfortable wearing a baby around who *needs* (IMO) to learn to "self-soothe".
I look at things this way... if I am comfortable doing something for one child then it needs to be able to happen for ALL of the children in my care. Since I cannot wear ALL of my crying children then none of them get to be worn.
