I have a dcg who is 14 months old and has been with me since she was 4 months old. When her dad comes to pick her up she screams when I hand her over to him. This happens everyday. Is it most likely because she doesn't want to leave me, or for some reason doesn't want to go to her dad?

I wouldn't want to go home either. My daycare is coolHa, ha. There are no underlying issues with these 2 kids, but I know the dcf's well enough to say that.

I have a dcg, 2, who screams bloody murder when Dcd picks her up but not dcm. I have a dcb, age 17 months, who never wants to leave.

all of my kids do this.
most don't want to come and NO body wants to leave.
I have one that runs and tries to hide from his mom when she comes to pick up. I got tired of it and made him sit by the door with shoes on. I also block my backroom off now so they can't go anywhere but out the front door.
Don't feel bad, she is just having a hard time with transitions leaving.- Flag

I've had kids get upset when Dad shows up instead of Mom - especially if Mom is the one who usually picks up. They get used to a certain routine and when the expected doesn't happen, they get very upset. Even the most loving of dads can make their kids scream as if they're being chased by a mass murderer when the kids were expecting mom to pick them up. Could this be what's going on with your dcg?- Flag
