I plan to take my own kids. We are about 45 minutes away, but my kids would love this! My middle daughter turns 7 in a couple of weeks, maybe we'll make the trip on her birthday

Makes me wish my kids were still young enough to enjoy this kind of thing. I'll have to send the link to a couple of my ex-dc families, though. Their dd's left for kindergarten in the fall but both girls were huge fans of Frozen. I'd be willing to bet they'd love to take a trip to CT!

:::: Don't give up! I dragged (almost literally) my moody teen to a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and saw the tiniest glimmer of light, while she was feeding a goat. Of course she was only doing it to post it on Instagram, but it almost made the other two hours of doom and gloom worth it.

I love these types of things around the holidays!
