No thank you for birthday gift

I gave this to one of my dcboys for his 2nd birthday. They are made of wood and were $6 each. Anyway absolutely NO thank you from either parent.

Do you think these were 2 babyish?

I don't think babyish and my 2yo's would LOVE them! Some parent's are just absolutely unthoughtful with no manners

        I think they're great!

FWIW, neither of my sisters-in-law ever say thank you. They make their children say it, but they don't.

I give bday parties here and I spend about $50.00 per party that gift I normally spend about $25.00 on and then make some muffins, decorate with some balloons.

I have NEVER had a parent say thank you but one. child is still here and you bet I will go out of my way to make this a great one again............

Adorable and not too babyish. Some people are just not thankful.

I watched my nephew for a whole week (16 month old) and got no sort of thank you from my brother or new sister in law. They were on their honeymoon in Hawaii while I spent my PTO with their very needy baby...not so much as a how-do-you-do. There are a lot of people who are just not appreciative of anything.

We aren't asking for much, a simple "thank you" would be enough

What you bought him was adorable . I am sure the little guy appreciates it, even though he isn't taught to say it. That was thoughtful and kind to give him a gift 😃

I think it is a nice gift. If the parents thought differently it would be the thought that counts. Parents can be so rude.

Adorable! My crew would love them, too.

                        I don't do gifts anymore.

I have THREE sets of parents that say thank you on a daily basis. Not surprisingly, their kids say it too.

We have had many a parent not acknowledge or say thank you for a bday or christmas gift. Your gift was adorable. The parents are rude.

                            Super cute!

Would you mind letting me know where you brought them? I would appreciate it!

                            My dcboys would love that

Even if the parents didn't particularly like it (Which I don't understand!) they should have thank you for the kind and thoughtful gesture:/

I think Thank You is becoming more and more rare these days, as are many other manners. I'm sorry they neglected to show their appreciation to you. I love them and wish I had a huge set to go in my block area!
