Should I prepare for a licensing inspection and if so how?

I had 1 DCG age 1.5. Her mother text me Saturday afternoon asking if she had fallen in my care because she was avoiding using one arm. I told her no and asked how she had been the night before. I got no response, she didn't show up today or respond when I asked if she was coming and the people that administer the child care assistance just let me know she was unenrolling.

I did nothing to her and I am positive she didn't fell while in my care. If she actually made a complaint, what should I expect? How long until someone shows up. I have no other daycare kids in care so it's not like they can walk through my house and cite me for anything.

Yes, call your licenser. Just to be on the safe side. "Hey, I just wanted to give you a heads up.."

Good time to make sure all your I's are doted and T's crossed. Paperwork checked, clean, quick safety review, etc.

I haven't because the DCM is known for answering me when she feels like it. I didn't know until right until I posted that she pulled her child with no notice.

I feel kind of dumb calling because I don't know what to say. If she didn't make a complaint than I am just calling to talk about this DCP and that seems weird too. I am not even positive that's why she pulled.

Tell them exactly what you told us. Only factual information. Not what you think. But what you know. They will tell you where to go from here.
