Scheduled my surgery AND had a brilliant idea!

I am having the surgery Dec 18th. Super glad to be getting on with it.

THEN I was thinking. One of my dcmoms is a student and will be on winter break during the month I have off. She lives near 3 of my other kids. I asked if she might be interested in watching a couple of them and making some $$ and she does. Yeah!

Then my good friend who lives 2 blocks away and does dc can take a couple too.

I doesn't cover all of them but it will help, even though finding alternative care is not my responsibility.

I think this sounds like an excellent idea. It may not be your "responsibility" but I personally think this is one type of "personal attention" that will keep a family coming to you for years.

You can explain "I don't generally find alternate care when I am closed, however, in this instance due to the longevity of my closure, I've taken the liberty of arranging alternate care for your child if you wish to take that opportunity. You're welcome to find your own alternate care, but if you can't/don't want to, I've made arrangements for you."
