Yuck- I get pink eye really easily. In fact I'll probably get it after being exposed to you contagious post.

It's gotten to the point that I keep drops on hand for when I get it to save myself the doctor's visit.

Last Friday we had 3 confirmed cases, and yesterday I had to send 2 more kids home and 2 parents have gotten it. I feel awful! This is the first case of pinkeye I've dealt with as a provider, and first ever as a parent (and my oldest is 9) since one of my own 4 kiddos has gotten it.

One of the kids I sent home with it last week just went to the Dr. yesterday (parents believed it was a sinus cold, didn't believe me that it was pinkeye until I refused the boy again on Monday and the took him to the Dr.), so we have a total of 3 kids out for it today. :dislike:
