I've been a blubbering mess today. Some kids have been here since they were 3 months old.


Tonight I am going to a couple of haunted houses..., research! I plan on doing that for the next couple of weeks. YIKES! Next year I will have my own. http://cellsofhell.com/

I guess I do reinvent myself. I use to be a police officer until my son was hit by a drunk driver getting off the school bus. (He's fine now. He actually became a drill sgt in the Army.) During his recovery I went back to school & was a Quality Assurance Analyst for Chemical Weapons of Mass Destruction. Somewhere along the way I bought an old county jail & people have been telling me for years to make a haunted house there. I have time to do it now!

you sold your in-home or was it a center?

I wasn't planning on leaving the biz..., my plan was to sell my DC home that I do not live in & move it to my rental property in a better location. The buyers wanted everything. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It happened so quick, I didn't even have to put it on the market. I still don' think it has sunk in yet.
