The Clients I Don't Talk About On Here...

    Because there's no need to.
    Just this week ALONE they....

    Dropped off on time.
Sent me a text the night before if they weren't coming for the day/going to be arriving after breakfast.
    Picked up on time.
Picked up early if they were out of work.
Asked before bringing a toy to share (board game, to leave here!)
THREE brought snacks without being asked- two healthy (picked apples, oranges) and one not (donut holes). All were appreciated, though!
Dressed their children weather appropriately. Had back up clothes.
    Made drop off quick.
Said THANK YOU at pickup. Told DCK to say thank you, too.
Marveled at 'how I do it all.'
    Asked about my own child.
Kept their sick child home, WITHOUT being told they HAD to.
Made pick up quick. Sent me an email if things needed to be discussed.
Apologized for their child peeing on the (toilet) seat at pickup (which happened after breakfast, but he told on himself. Was embarrassed. Offered to clean it up.
Brought a hand me down rain coat and rain boots to leave here---just in case someone else forgets.

    ......and it's only Wednesday. happyface

Oh gosh I'm jealous! One of my DCP's is that awesome. It almost stinks because it makes my not so good DCP seem that much worse!

Thank you for this post! Makes me stop and think about my dc parents, and realize that they're all pretty great.

I had a dcd peeking into my window around 2:30 last Friday. He got out of work early, and decided to come get his daughter, and was trying to be quiet because he knew some of the kids might be sleeping. I was blown away- what a wonderful dcd, and his daughter just adores him lovethis

I had a Dcd give us a bag and say open it later. I put it on the counter & opened it while the kids were having breakfast. It was two ziplock bags of fruit snacks & candy with a little note that said 'we had extra goodies from dcb birthday party. Keep the good candy for yourselves and give the kids candy right before pick up 😉'

I have a dcm that text me when she got to work to say "sorry I was so grumpy this morning. I had a rough start. You are the best". Funny I hadn't noticed any grump but it was so sweet that she took the time to apologize and tell me something nice. She has also brought trays of food that she had extra from parties that I can use for lunch here.

One of mine came by to drop off a big bag of craft supplies she bought on clearance from Michael's. That same one is keeping dcb home one more day just to be sure his diarrhea is gone. VOLUNTARILY.

                        That is awesome!

This week I've had a parent keep her child home 2 days in a row because "she's a little stuffy, and I KNOW how cranky she is when she's not feeling well."

I generally have great parents. One works by appointment only, and generally picks her kids up as soon as she is done for the day. She texts me all the time to let her know when DCK is up from her nap, and picks her up within 5 minutes of the text.

All of them say thank you most days, and encourage their kids to say the same. I have one that loves her daughter's skinny jeans, but generally they all come prepared for the day and dressed appropriately, and bring diapers as soon as I ask. I Iove my parents. A couple of them are over indulgent, but they are new parents and they'll learn in their own time.

I was just trying to explain to dh how great my current dcps are and how potentially rare this type of group might be.

All but one child were picked up by 4 yesterday. They always say thank you and one brought me a pumpkin spice latte!
