    Scald Guard/ Faucet Regulator??

I keep hearing of this little magical scald guard that I can install on my bathroom faucet so kids do not burn themselves. But I can't find it anywhere. I would just keep down all my hot water, but we like hot showers and we have a garden tub we frequently use and need the hot water for and it stinks not having it got right now (120*max). So where can I find this magical device to install on the individual faucets???

I used something similar to this. It basically installs under the sink and mixes the hot and cold water to the temperature you set it to and sends that to the hot water faucet.

I don't have anything that I attach to my faucets but my faucets all have the Pressure Balance/Scald Guard feature built into them.

The easiest way to fix the issue is to make sure you keep you water temp set no higher than 120F.

Search Home Depot or Menards for Pressure Balance/Scald Guard features.
