I now tell all parents in my policy booklet--CHILD MUST GO A WHOLE DAY VOMIT AND FEVER FREE. It used to say 24 hours vomit/fever free until the day a father brought child at 3 pm and claimed it had been 24 hours.

She is keeping him home today he still has a fever as of 3 am when he fell out of bed no more puking though. Not sure I will let him come tomorrow because my policy says fever free 24 hrs with out fever reducing medications.

...if you make an exception to your 24 hr rule, parents will ALWAYS expect you to make an exception.

I would stick to your policies. Makes it much easier when you have to enforce them.
