I am 20 minutes south of the twin cities minnesota and it is soooo cold. I havent been able to take the kids out for a week.

I have the thermostat at 71 degrees and I am still cold so I out my long underwear underneath my jeans.

Thank goodness tomorrow we will be going to open gym.

I am in the Northern part of Minnesota....it is -20F below zero...with winds gusting to 15 mph and windchill it is -45F. The sun is out though...don't know if it makes a difference but it looks neat!
Its not too bad here, warmed to 6 above. It's going to be really warm tomorrow~20 above.

My dad lives up in Grand Rapids and I called him while he was out for his morning walk. He said 'It was kinda brisk this morning', I said 'How cold is it?' He says 'Only -20, not too bad.'

55 . We're in Texas though. Right outside Dallas. Doesn't feel anything like Christmas but I'm definitely not complaining. I'm not ready to give up outside time yet .

We're at 20F and we've had snow flurries all morning. No snow on the ground yet, though, which is fine with me. I thought it was cold here until I saw the temperatures that some of you are having to deal with!

Thanks for the soup and tea laundymom!! ...last year I snapped a picture of my car temp at -35 below. I will start complaining then....but for now, you just go with the flow and layer up. You get so used to it that it doesn't bother you any more. Last night DH and I went for a snowmobile ride....went from 7:30 until 10:00 and when you are dressed properly, it is a blast!

Central Pa the temps were in the teens and windchill was single digits. it snowed pretty good this morning, but it didn't last, it just swirled on the streets. Kids were excited.

Yesterday we broke the all time HIGH for the date.....61 degrees and raining sideways. We almost never get as cold as you guys but normal is more like low to mid 40's in mid December.....Weird.
I did manage to get my lil guys out for our walk between rain squalls though.
I wish it was that nice here! It's 18 degrees now, but we did just have negative 30's the other day. BTW, Live and Learn, everytime I see your avatar I think it is TINKER BELL! Anyone else see it too?

I'm in the PNW too. It was 64 where I am! Lovely for December. And you're right... December is usually in the 40's. January can get down to the teens sometimes, but I only remember ONCE where it was below 10. Back in about 1990 give or take a year.
