No Show
Don't you hate when you have completed the enrollment with a parent, they tell you they will be there on a certain date and time and never show up. a call would have been nice my dcks don't come untill noon i been up waiting since 6am for a 7:30am child.

This is why I started charging a two week deposit to hold a spot for more than a day or so - it weeds out the "shoppers."
Hopefully they will contact you with a good explanation - maybe they got the date wrong or something like that.Comment

Had that happen to me on the first day of school. The mom was taking classes at the local university and when she left after we visited for an hour or so and went through all of the paperwork, she said see you Monday a.m. She never showed. I cant believe some people are so irresponsible that they cant even call. I also had this happen shortly after I started my daycare. I had a family come and we went through everything. The mom said she would figure out which day they would be starting. She verbally told me that they would for sure bring their daughter and I never heard from her again until I called her to ask her whether she had picked a date to start. She told me they were just going to leave her dd at the neighbors until school started. That was a bul*sh*t story. They decided to take her to my old daycare providers house which I have no problem with other than be truthful and she should have informed me of their decision so I wasnt turning down other potential families.
