How Have You Handled This Situation??

I have a dcg who is extremly hard to deal with every. single. day!! but so is her mother. The dcg lies, breaks things, and overall does not listen and tries to get the other kids to follow along(she is 3 almost 4) to say im frustrated is an understatement. The other day i thought I'd test the waters with dcm and told her about a little thing, but something i felt she might address with her dd. HAHA she looked at me like i was an idiot, rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders... and as Im letting her know of the bigger things she either ignores me or does the same thing(oh thats where dcg gets it from, WONDERFUL) Im so frustrated throughout the day because i cant do alot with the other kids because im constantly having to do for this ONE child(she is like 3 kids) im kinda at a loss right now. How have you handled this situation if you've had it???

when the apples does not fall far from the tree, you throw the rotten apples out.

BTDT and will never do it again. I just rid of my rotten apples family two months ago and it has been heaven on earth since.

If dcm is of no help, then time to start advertising and replace them.

don't let anyone get you down, it's not worth it and could cost you more in the long run than just your sanity...

I'm willing to work with any child, as long as the parents are 100% backing me up. This dcm doesn't sound like she's willing to do that, so I would probably put the child on probation pending behaviour and if there wasn't any improvement I would term

A parent that straight out rolls their eyes and shrugs when I'm dressing an issue isn't a parent I'm willing to even try with. I'd start advertising and replace them ASAP. it's clear dcm doesn't see any of what you've said to be a problem. It's highly unlikely the situation will change if she doesn't think it's a problem.
