Paid Day Off Is Going To Be Costly :(

Up side is my recent change in policies now means I'm getting paid when I take a day off.
Down side is I have 3 appts. today that will cost me in the ball park of $500.
I could be taking a vacation for far less than that.
Oh well, looking at the bright side I got to sleep in half an hour extra this morning.

Well if you think about it, depending on how many kids you have and what you charge, now that you are paid for days off rather than not paid, it kind of evens out financially....maybe.?

Been there- just think of how farther in the hole you would be if it was unpaid.

Look at it positively.

You are taking care of 3 personal things and marking them off your "to-do" list.

Mentally, paid or unpaid, a day off IS an emotional/mental day off.
