Impetigo

DCG got off bus yesterday with what looked like a case of impetigo on her face. I told DCD at pick up that she needed to be seen as it is contagious and I have a DCB here with a compromised immune system.

So this afternoon DCG gets off bus and I assume all was fine at appt. DCG proceeds to tell me that the teacher had to put cream on her today. I look at the parent/teacher log book and there is a message from DCD telling teacher DCG has impetigo and asking teacher to put cream on. He also teaches at the school.

I would call the parents to come get their child, and let them know that they have violated my illness policy. If I were already having issues with the family, I would have the child's belongings ready for the pickup and term.
