3 Unannounced Inspections Last Week!

Its been since early June since I've had an inspection, and then I get 3 back to back!? Happy to say passed them all, just surprised to get so many at one time! Just a reminder to providers to always be expecting and prepared, .

Did you get reported by a dcp with a grudge? Did they goof up at the office? I had an inspection one day, then within the same week another person came and I said I just had so-n-so here inspecting. She said oh ok, see ya then. I wouldn't think there'd be a need for that many inspections unless someone reported something unfounded, especially considering the lack of manpower in some of their offices.
But glad you passed all 3!!

I don't think a disgruntled DCP..2 inspections were from USDA and they do 3 unannounced here in my district per fiscal year, they just verify log in records with food program reporting, and ask questions about about portion sizes and give me nutritional info. My 1st was back in June while my substitute was here
(of course!)

The other was from the state, who gives me 1 unannounced inspection annually, and 1 announced. They just asked who as in attendance and did a 5 minute walk through/around. They also gave me some paperwork to proceed forward from registered family childcare home to certified family childcare home this coming December when I'm eligible

At least I got them all out of the way for the year!
