I totally lucked out with the amazing families I have. One of the moms texted me this morning to let me know that her little one had a fever, that she was pretty sure was from teething, but she didn't want to risk getting the other babies sick so she was keeping him home. happyface

I was having this thought last night. I have a pair of siblings and one has been out sick with strep. It turns out the little boy ALSO has hand foot and mouth (poor little dude!
) Mom called me as she was leaving the dr letting me know she was picking up little sister from me ASAP in case she had it, even though there were no symptoms yet. She apologized a hundred time for possibly infecting other children. She is the best.
All my families lately have been pretty great
I am getting ready to move locations (in the same area) and they have all expressed their excitement for the new space and that they will be flexible when I need to close to move and any gap in coverage while I get licensed.

I can't say I have any "bad apples" right now...haven't in a long while.
Still I am appreciative of that every day and try not to lose sight of the fact that there aren't many "good" ones left.Comment
