I have to admit; I much rather pick up a million toys (with their "help") than constantly redirect back TO the toys. One of my older toddlers is the BEST player, so I love the days he's here (he's PT). The other older toddler is a meddler. She'd much rather hang on me, "help" me, follow me, and boss the other kiddos around than actually PLAY with a toy. Oh, and climb things.
On days when "the player" is here, everyone actually plays with toys, even "the meddler". On days he's not here, there's a lot more wandering and exploring.
Ironic thing is SHE thinks she's helping by helping, when in reality, he's the one helping by playing. How do I tell her?
