In My Closing Countdown!!!!!!

I'm so excited to start my new job at the end of Septmeber! I am also so ready to be done with daycare.

I am, unfortunately, a casualty of too many Nasty, Bad behaved parents. I have had many parents leave owing money, I've had dope and drops, I've been screamed at by multiple parents in my home and in front of other kids, while 9 months pregnant I had a parent knowingly bring their child with a nasty stomach bug which I got and had to go to the hospital for, I've lost friends (they were one of my worst daycare families), I've had issues getting anyone to follow my policies, I've had parents complain when I've needed an emergency sick day (gall bladder attacks-SO PAINFUL), I've been threatened, bullied, and that's just what I can think of off the top of my head.

I don't know how all you ladies keep on trucking?! I just can't do it anymore. And now I don't have to!

In my new job, I will be making more and working less!!!!!!!happyface

Thanks for all the advice over the last 2 years! This has been such a great resource for me through my daycare years!

Wow! I've had parents who were frustrating to deal with but never as bad as you've described. If that's been your experience while doing day care, I can absolutely understand why you're getting out.
