Since I had to term my first and only kiddo after a week. I have another bulletin board question for you all! I had done itsy bitsy spider, since I had been doing the song and hand motions with him and at one he was trying to do the spider. Now I am wondering what you would put on your bulletin board when you are looking for kiddos and hoping to have interviews. This is the kid board, not the parent board.

Well I guess. Right now since dcb liked itsy bitsy spider I had the cloud, sun, rain, spout, spider with the words on them all. Not that at 1 he would read the words but hey any exposure is good right? So I guess something that says "hey daycare is fun, kids are invited" type thing.
Oh and I just made new fliers to hang around and hung some today. On them I put that the kids will sleep on cots not the floor, since I just got the great deal on cots. I am hoping that will be a draw
. A lot of my number tags were taken off of the old fliers, but I never got that many calls. Odd.

we have weekly vocab words on a wall with both text and pics
I dont have the best website, but I did it myself. I don't have good english grammar, so my asst works on what to write for me.
I basically told him what I wanted it to say and he did just that in better words....

I am working on a website. I am not real good at that stuff and my daughter loves it. So she is going to work on it some. But she just started 10th grade and has a ton of advance placement classes so she hasn't had a ton of time yet and I am trying to give her some free time. She is anxious to start though, so I guess I should turn it over to her and let her do it in her time. My other question there is how do I promote a website? So new to that part of things. 14 years ago when doing daycare, I didn't even own a computer.

I have zero ZERO experience with building a website and I did it trial and error. You can make it before you publish it. It is really easy to use a site like weebly or yola. you can get a paid domain name or a free one, it's up to you.I am working on a website. I am not real good at that stuff and my daughter loves it. craigs list, all though I don't care for the clients that come from there I just put it there so that I can get ranking. Again I don't really know too much about this, I just do some research on it. Michael owner of this site also has been a big help to this type of stuff.Comment
