Does Anyone Use Essential Oils In Their Daycare?

I've been thinking of buying a diffuser for essential oils. My niece swears by hers for her girls. She uses lavender at bedtime, and a calming one during the day. She said the smells are subtle--I wouldn't want anything overpowering. Anyone have one?
