Following this, the one thing I hate I got rid of when I closed ten years ago was my felt board and all the pieces I had cut. At the time we had a child care association and could get our felt cut free during meetings if we brought our own felt. I had bought a huge box at a garage sale and they had some really cute dies for cutting.

how 'bout some Spanish ones?

Hijacking your thread a bit...

My kids love doing felt board stories; so much so that I'm getting sick of the ones I've got and am ready to make some more. We are taking Spanish classes this year. Does anyone have some simple Spanish felt stories (or counting rhymes or fingerplays in Spanish that I could find pictures for) to suggest?

So do you use flannel or felt? Which sticks better?

I use iron-on interfacing on the back side of each of my felt pieces. They keep their shape better and last longer.
