I asked the family to give me their decision within 48 hours (by yesterday). Haven't heard anything. I was planning to email this afternoon and ask if they'd made a decision. Does this seem okay?

It sounds to be like they made there choice by not answering you in a timely manner. It maybe their answer is no. It also maybe they are the type you do not take directions well. Do you want that as a client? Think DC policy breaker...Comment
