When does/did school start?

August 25th for the public school elementary and above kids and August 27th for the public pre-k.

LOL....here in British Columbia Canada
we have NO IDEA when school will start this year
the teachers are on Strike
they went on strike last year on a rotating days and then full time last 2 weeks of school
the kids missed out on a lot of fun school end stuff

same- Tuesday after labor day. However school here runs to the middle of June.

Aug. 25, Aug. 27, and Sept. 2, depending on school and age. Mr. Thorninmyside is starting the 25th, yay!!!!

Monday (the 18th) was the first day. We were all ready for it.

My kids started August 20th & our last day is set for May 29th. I lovethis getting out early. I am in Ohio. Of course, if we have a rough winter again you might as well add 4-5 days to that end date as we will likely have some days to make up.::

All except the Kindergarteners go back full time on Monday the 25th. Kindy's go 1 day next week for assessments and then start full time on the 2nd.
