It's the first sticky thread on the top of the Parents and Guardians section of the forum.

What were the mommies upset about?

#11 I have been doing this 23 years and MOST of the kids never call me mommy or do it only occasionally as a mistake.

#6 If I get thrown up on I can get a new shirt in under a minute. If you have experience you can get the kids set up to occupy themselves for one minute to get a new shirt or go to the bathroom.

Other than that it pretty spot on!

Good to know! It's all good info--I don't see anything to be upset about.

If you scroll all the way down in the linked page, there's a link to her response to the offended mommies. It's very good!

The author even wrote a response to all the mommies that have their panties in a bunch.

I loved her response. And I loved that one of her points was regarding parents being off work and still bringing their children as usual. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets peeved when that happens.

Love it! Although I am able to change my shirt in just a few seconds if it is soiled. I can see how at a center that would not be possible, though. I once had a little one get a horrible bloody nose while at a center and blood got all over me! After that, I learned to keep an extra uniform in my class in case my clothes got soiled. The kids were required to have extra clothes so it makes sense for the teachers to have them too
