We are considering buying a house on a fairly busy street (only significantly busy during rush hour; main artery for small city). The street is two lanes in both directions (so 4 lanes in total). The house is on a double lot and has a circular driveway (so easy to get in and out). The yard will be fully fenced (privacy fence) and secure (locked gates), and I don't plan on taking the kids away from the daycare. Will the busy street scare potential dcp away?

As a parent, I wouldn't object.
My objection would be the unbelievable amount of dirt you will find in your house from the road. I back up to a 4 lane artery and you wouldn't believe what my white tile bathroom looks like on a weekly basis.Comment
