I have an new boy that started this morning. He is on my floor laying down and kicking his legs and basically flip flopping around like crazy. I tried to sooth him. I tried to sit with him. What can I try? I have never had a kid like this. I tried to offer him some milk and he just got more up set. I know he needs to adjust but I don't want to hurt another child. Should I separate him? Every time I look at him he gets worse. I have had them cry before and be up set but not like this and I don't want to make it worse.

I would find a place for him to lay down , flop or whatever separately from everyone else . Maybe a blanket for him to stay on . Let him know he can cry but he has to do it & stay on the blanket , when he is ready he can come play and have fun .
As long as can not hurt himself I would let him do it and get it all out . There is no way you can make him stop so hopefully he will just get it all out and be able to move on .
I have had one like this and it took time for her adjust but each day got a little better .- Flag
