Sanitizing after nasty noro virus hit my daycare

I had a new dcg bring in noro virus this week and it ran through the kids like crazy. Now DH, DS, and I all have it.i had to close down today.

When I feel better this weekend, what is the best way to sanitize everything? I have 2 that didn't get sick out of my 8, and I want to make sure they stay healthy.

    Bleach, Bleach, Bleach...
Any toys that you can run through the dishwasher (mine has a sanitize cycle on it), all surfaces ( chairs, tables, shelves, ect.) Things you can't wash, Lysol spray them. I had 2 get H1N1 a few yrs back and this is what I did. 2 out of 10, the rest stayed healthy...

Yes! I wiped every surface down with bleach daily for days... Basically anything that could be wiped with bleach! (All toys, door knobs, light switches, counter tops & especially the bathroom.)

I had a child come down sick on a Wednesday afternoon at the beginning of June. It was such a nasty bug and I became OCD trying to make sure it was gone from my home! I washed every toy daily in the dishwasher to sanitize---Legos, play food, cars, etc and cloth toys were laundered in hot water with OdoBan in the washing machine.

After the 2nd day, I ended up limiting the toys I had out to the bare bones!!!!

It went like wild fire through the daycare and my own family Miraculously I escaped it. Finally by Monday, no one else got sick and that was the end of it. It was the first time in 28 years I have experienced something so contagious and horrible!

This is always when I think, why am I letting these people in my house?!!! I use bleach, too, but I'd love to have a steam cleaner. I'd also invest in a pair of disposable gloves, since you can catch it again and again and again...the sanitizing part is always when I end up catching whatever the kids have!!!! Just keep looking ahead to next weekend....

          Bleach!

My kiddos got an unexplained we don't know what....almost 1 week from one kid to next kid (weirdly the provider's other dck's not sick, knock on wood)

Symptoms were nothing more than severe headache with high fever and "heavy" legs & lethargy with just achy all over and mild tummy pain, and they were NOT dehydrated. It started with first dd who had it Friday last week, then moved to the two boys Wed and dd yesterday.

No one threw up and 48 hours later (each time) , everyone has been fine.
