Yippy Skippy! What does everybody have planned for the weekend?

My plans include yard work, inside decluttering in my 23 yo dd's room. She hardly ever comes home anymore and the room has become a catch-all room. I'll need it for a pack'n'play in a few weeks. And it looks like I'll have to start my annual renewal of STARS. What a pain that is. I received something in the mail yesterday which I haven't opened yet. Our last week of virtual vacation to Vermont is this next week so have to make plans for that. Their interest these past 2 weeks has waned terribly so mine has too. But Vermont will be fun.

Geez, live, eat, breathe child care.

My ds has his first 2 football scrimmages and we are all excited . He has wanted to play for so long and this year we let him .

I had two new dc kids start this week, and I am exhausted! Tomorrow, I am headed to a casino to drink by the pool, spa, dinner , etc with one of my best friends happyface

Today we are going to the race track (horses, not cars) a birthday party tomorrow night and the lake on Sunday. I've been sick the last two weekends so I'm looking forward to getting out and feeling good

Tomorrow is shopping in the morning and then the lake with the family.

Sunday is my yardwork/housework/laundry mountain day. BLEH.

I am painting my family room. And cleaning, of course.

But, For fear of jinxing myself...I will have ONE WHOLE DAY to myself next week. Dds are with their grandparents, dh will be at work, I somehow lucked out and my Dcfs are on vacation at the same time...

No one should be as excited as I am to spend the day alone .

Friday nights are family movie night in my house. Our kids look forward to it all week. We make popcorn and snuggle up under a ton of blankets and watch movies till the kids fall asleep.

Tomorrow we are going to a state park in long island for a family reunion of sorts. It's a 3 hour tide and we are only going for the day. That's a lot of time in the car! Excited to lay on the beach there and play in the sand, maybe go on a nature hike.

Sunday is my birthday! We will go out for lunch and spend the rest of the day in the pool.
