    Potty times

I'm thinking of implementing two potty times during the day since I have several young 2 year olds who are ready to start training, but not yet near potty trained in any way.

When would you add in potty breaks!? Here's our schedule:

    7-8: arrival and free play
    8: Breakfast
    8:30-10: circle time, projects, centers
10-11: outside OR music class (we have a special music teacher come over)
    11-11:30: free play
    11:30: lunch
12-1: free play, centers OR outside if we didn't go out yet
    1-3: nap
    3:30: snack
    3:45-5: outside
    5-5:15: pick up

Would it work to excuse the kids from the table after meals and send them one at a time to the bathroom to try? Or should I wait longer after meals for things to process... You know what I mean!

I do have potty times built into my schedule, mostly for new trainers. Usually after breakfast, before nap and before PM snack. I don't let them in the bathroom by themselves though, as they aren't ready for that.

ETA: so we have breakfast, and as soon as it's cleaned up the bathroom breaks might start. Usually kids who are closer to training are ready to go by that time.

Mine are after breakfast, before we go outside, after lunch, & after nap. ALL the kids go potty then, even the ones who can go on their own.

If you're trying to catch new ones, I'd do them frequently.
We have potty breaks that everyone is required to use as well but only before going outside and before naps.
