Been raining all day. Which really would have been a whole lot more fun had there not been seven kids running around me in circles all day! But they are a blessing... still I will enjoy some quiet this evening.

Unless it's pouring rain or storming, I still make my kids go out. I'm such a meanie.
I tell them it's because we Have to take the dogs out but it's mostly for my own sanity. 
A little rain never hurt anybody. They don't seem to mind and we have a giant maple tree where we can hide from getting wet somewhat.
Isn't it a nice sense of relief and quiet when work is done? I find myself even chuckling some nights if the kids have had a rough day and thinking, good luck parents, now it's your turn! -
