    Mixing Ages

I have heard from one lady that visted out center that we could not have a one year/two year old classroom, and I took her word for it. Although I keep seeing all kinds of daycare's across KY that has a one/two year old classroom. Does anyone know if this is technically aloud as long as you keep your ratio at 6?

I'm not in Kentucky, but here it's a grouping of 12 to 18 months OR 18 to 30 months. So technically, that second group is 1 and 2 year olds. Just not the "young" 1s or "older" 2s.

I always look in our licensing manual instead of taking someone's word for something. And then if I'm still not sure I email my licensing specialist because sometimes it comes down to interpretation.
