    Ft priority over pt

I have never been in the position that I would have to term a part time child to accept a ft child .
1 dmc said she would like her son ( who is ft now) to come before and after school . I had not planned on him staying since he normally does not show up until after the bus would come .

I also took back a part time child that I had a year ago ( she left because I termed the sibling because of aggression) , she will start in Sept.

So this means that 1 day per week I will be at my max capacity . 1ft , 2 pt and 5 b/a school kids .

Of course I want to fill a spot with a ft child first but I will take back the 4 b/a kids since some income is better than none . Plus the 4 s/a kids do not come all summer , just when school is in . So I do not have a steady year round income from them .

Could someone share the wording they use for ft taking priority over pt .
All pt and s/a kids will be getting this update when school begins .

The section in my handbook about enrollment reads like this:

Priority for available space is first given to currently enrolled families beginning with full time enrollees.

Having priority does not guarantee that space is available when needed.

Business-wise, it is my goal to have as many of my spaces filled with full time children however, every effort will be made to accommodate part-time and/or drop-in children.

Unfortunately since space is limited, having a reliable back up provider or alternate care arrangements is required.

This is then discussed in detail upon enrollment so that all part time families understand they could get "bumped"
