But I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch.
I don't know if anyone remembers back a few months when I tried to start a sibling of my dcg, she'd only been cared for by grandma so was used to getting rocked to sleep, being held a lot, etc. I tried it for 2 weeks and said I just couldn't do it, plus dcg was going thru a biting phase at the time and I couldn't keep up with it all.
Well, the dcps asked me if I'd be willing to try again with the little one(she's 17 months old now), has been in a center for these past few months and does really well with napping, etc. So I said YES!!
Plus someone else another dcm knows, had child care all lined up for this week and out of the blue, she was told they could no longer start her. So she called me, I told her I had no openings until school started again. She found someone until I could take her! And she just turned a year.
So with 3 FT, 2 in preschool, I just might be okay.
