Help talk me off the ledge!!!!

I need some serious talk me off the ledge help today! I have 5 kids today and all but 1 are being ridiculously terrible.

First off the 3 month old dcb that doesn't want to drink his bottle and doesn't want to sleep, but wants to piss and moan. No, he's not sick this is his new thing. Totally fine if being held.

Kid #2 is a 3 yr old dcb that decided to pee on my carpet today and also break a toy on purpose.

DCG, 4 yrs old is the one that mom says she doesn't want napping anymore because it interferes with her sleep even though dcg told me that she got in trouble last night because she was up in the middle of the night and mom had to rock her. She wasn't here yesterday, so can't blame nap.

DCB 15 months old, is doing a hysterical scream when I go to take his hand to go anywhere and falls to the ground while doing it and won't walk.

I thank God that tomorrow is my last day until vacation. Cannot wait to have a ****tail tomorrow at 5:00!

    *DEEEP BREATHS*

Can you STOP what you are doing, sit on the floor (hold baby or put him next to you, if need be?) and start SLOWLY blowing bubbles (one at a time), reading books, or something else out of the norm when it's a zoo?

If all else fails, outside or NAP is my go to.

I find that if I respond to wild/cranky kids with calm and unexpected behavior, it helps set the stage for them to be calm.

Been there, for sure. I'm sorry your day is crazy!

Yesterday. Same thing. Put everybody in some fo of stroller, wagon, etc and went for a LONG walk. 1/2 fell asleep completely off schedule. It's so hard right before vacation- it's like they can sense it!

I make this kids nap early when they are driving me nuts. And guess what? They all sleep for about 3 hours on those days instead or 2.

So all but the non-napper were sleeping and then the doorbell rings with 2 girls about 10 selling "arts and crafts". seriously? omg!!! the door is right next to the naproom too. of course dcb 15 months wakes up and starts talking and then crapped his pants. changed him and put him back down. of course he had to have a complete meltdown.

The lawn guy across the street just had to bang the gate of his trailer on the street and just had to mow my neighbors lawn...a half an hour after my napper who has to nap in the playroom due to waking friends up, fell asleep. Needless to say, he woke up crying for mom....he NEVER has done that. Awesome.

I finally put tape on my door bell so people wouldn't ring it at nap. Some still do. Funny story, our UPS guy delivered a package and left it by the front door (also the parent/playroom entry way). I had no clue. Then dh showed me the paper they leave and it said that he left it on the front porch and didn't knock because he thought kids would be sleeping!

A year ago, around 3pm. I heard the sound of a weedwacker and it just stopped. Five minutes later, I hear the sound again and screaming. O O I later found out my neighbor had tried to fix it and severed a few of his fingers. I called 911. It was the most awkward conversation ever, because I couldn't go outside and talk to him. Then, they had to come in my home and in my yard and get him and take him over my yard and out through my house, because he was unconscious and his door was locked.

Oh my gosh, that is awful. I bet the kids weren't too nuts about that. Of course, they like excitement too so who knows. Were they able to re-attach the fingers?

Guess it just goes to show you that every time you think you are having a bad day, there is someone else having an even worse day.
