Logged out for privacy. I haven't announced our pregnancy to anyone but close family- it's still early first trimester and after a miscarriage in March i'm trying to make sure to hold off. I have 2 interviews tonight. Should I mention it to them? If so, how would/did you go about it? TIA!
Early Pregnancy- Do I Tell Interviewees?

My DH is home by 2 everyday, and off Mondays, so appts won't affect DC. It'll just be time off for maternity leave, which I don't know what I'll do yet. Thinking 2 weeks, and trying to find a helper to work for 2 more weeks after that- if possible. Or MAYBE, if my husband gets a big enough raise, close the daycare for a while. I really don't know what will happen then, but it shouldn't affect anyone too much until the baby comes. I am high risk, though, and may have to induce early- not sure yet. So many unknowns, I'm just not sure how/when to tell prospective families. (I am not telling my current family until I'm further along- they are already here :-) )- Flag

Do not say anything. It will be fine. I interviewed even when I was as big as a whale and wouldn't inform interviewees until they came here. 99% signed on, even starting when I was 39 weeks!- Flag

Congrats
I haven't taken on new families since I found out, even though I wanted to just for the sake of not wanting to deal with new families no appointments and so on. However if I did, I would wait to inform until well past the first trimester.
My current full time DCB I told almost right away (currently 31 weeks along)as I have never had a problem pregnancy and we haven't talked much about maternity leave until recently. They were excited though and even talked about having another one themselves but decided their boy is enough. My pt DCG, I told them early on as well but I only have her a few times a month, if that, so it isn't an issue at all with me taking time off.- Flag
