I'm re-doing my policies and payments and I want to accept part-time clients, but have no idea what to charge. Just wanted to get some ideas.

I have no idea what DE rates are. I'm in Indy. I charge $100 for 2 and/or 3 days.$20 more for ft.- Flag

I charge $150 a week for ft and $33 a day for pt. I charge pt a little more since they are potentially taking up a spot that could make me $150 a week. Drop in care is $35 a day.- Flag

To give an idea, my full time rate is $200/week ($40/day). I do two part time schedules: Mon/Wed/Fri for $132/week ($44/day), and Tue/Thur for $96/week ($48/day). Drop-in would be $48/day, but I have rarely had any openings for drop-ins. And the rates are for full-day, no discounts for half-days. So you can see with the $40/$44/$48 I just increased the rate by $4 a day with each schedule, because I think you should pay a premium for using less days a week, because my life would be easier with all full-time clients, because I have extra paperwork, recordkeeping, conferences, and scrapbooks and such to maintain when there are two part-time kids splitting a full-time schedule.- Flag

I also adjust the rates for pick up times.- Flag
