    When Your Most Persnickety Kid...

Decides to have an invisible friend. This has been a long day! I'm going to find out who "John's" mom is and charge her full time price!

At least he has a normal name :: I had one I wouldn't want to say here

And by that I mean, I had a child who had an imaginary friend whose name I wouldn't want to say here ::

My (now 19 yr old) daughter had an imaginary friend for only a few weeks when she was about 3 years old.

One time my parents were visiting from England and we were at the store. My daughter was in one of those carts with room for two older kids (a bench seat). My dad, thinking he was being a loving Grandfather, sat beside her and hugged her. He jumped up when she burst into tears.

We all asked what was wrong. She tearfully told my dad that he had sat on "Sally" and squashed her. We never heard of her again and my daughter was fine within 5 minutes of her outburst and back to adoring her grandfather!!

She has no recollection at all of her little pretend friend.

But my dad has never forgotten and still feels guilty for squishing Sally!!!!::

Aw, poor Sally :: That's a great story.

One of my old daycare kids had everyone here convinced that her name was Alice. And that she had a cat named Dinah. And that her best friend was named Dorothy. And Dorothy had a dog named Toto.
Okay, by now people were catching on ::
