    Christmas Play

My daycare kids have been practicing for a little play for some very special community neighbors (whom they all have interaction with) and a snack time at our daycare home. At least one of the parents wants to join us. Frankly, the kids will not "perform" if the parents are here but I know they will do the play if parents are not here. Do you think it is okay for me to just tell the parents this and they cannot join us? I am going to borrow a video camera and tape it....

can they do it twice? i know all through school we usually performed for the school and then parents would come in the evening and we'd do it again.

yes, I would give the kids the opportunity to perform it twice...and do record them! That's priceless to any parent.
