    No business runs solely on this philosophy that the customer is always right.....every store has policies and rules and store hours and fees that they will not break. "the customer is always right" is not a real thing.

      Thanks for all the replies. I am glad to now I'm not the only one that doesn't operate their daycare this way. I feel much better now thanks everyone!

        Every business has fees for service so I try to offer a true price for their request. Usually conflict happens when they believe that their four dollars an hour buys them the ability to decide what is done with the kid. When they are asking for services that cost more than what I make, I can't do it.
        I am about to add this to my parent handbook and contract. I am just too excited about this contract edit.
