    Sam's or Costco?

So I saw the thread about Sam's Club Diapers and it got me thinking of something COMPLETELY different.

Which is better? Sam's or Costco?

COSTCO. Omgosh I love Costco. Better business practices, availability of organic food at conventional costs (really!), fantastic produce...
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Does anyone know if either place has the items I'd need for Metabolic Research diet?

Costco. I don't step foot in Walmart. Costco pays its employees a real living wage and benefits.

Agreed. I always try to shop at stores where I don't have to pay twice (once for my product, and once for the welfare for their employees). I will shop at Walmart if I HAVE to, but if I can find it somewhere else, I'll get it somewhere else. Costco has better product, too, IMO.

                  I have both near by.

Just let Sams Club membership expire and renewed Costco. I find Costco much better.

It really depends on what you are looking for. Typically you can get a courtesy one day membership to both and look around for yourself. Decide which one you would use the most items.

I have memberships to both. I do the majority of my shopping at Sam's Club. Their prices are a bit lower and I like their meats.

Costco meats are more expensive. You can buy discounted meat at Sam's whereas you can't at Costco.

Our Costco has much longer lines than our Sam's. Also, Sam's has a self checkout that Costco doesn't.

Sam's has business hours and they open at 7 AM versus Costco's 10 AM.

My dh lives on Costco's Kirkland brand ibuprofen, swears it works better than Motrin, otherwise I would probably let my Costco membership go.

Aren't Costco's meats USDA Prime, though, and Sam's USDA Choice? I'm not sure, but I guessed that Costco's was more money because it was higher quality.
