Have You Seen The Movie 'Blended'? Ok for 8 yr. old?

I was going to take my granddaughter to the movie 'Blended' which is rated PG13. She is eight years old. Then my son said it might not be appropriate. I'd rather take her to a G movie but nothing appeals to us. I wanted to take her tomorrow.

Has anyone seen it and do you think it is appropriate for an 8 year old?

I believe it stars Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler and is a comedy about two adults who, at first, have a disastrous date but later their children meet when they all end up at the same resort and the children befriend each other.

I could only see part of a trailer which showed the adults in a restaurant but someone told me it is a Hooter's.

Ive seen it. I wouldn't take my g'son who is 8. It's not super bad or anything, just some dry off color humor sprinkled in there.

I don't think it's too bad! It was super sweet, and the innuendos would be over his head anyway. It's really a message about love. There is some crude stuff, but not really bad language and no sexual scenes. I would take him! My heart melted for Adam Sandler's character. And OMG Terry Crews made me laugh until I peed!!

Internet movie database I check this before letting my kids watch something. They really do a good job! I definitely want to see this but not with DD. I don't actually like Adam Sandler that much but love Drew Barrymore and I LOVED 50 1st Dates!
