    Accumulating Ideas

As someone here did in the past, I'm doing an across the states virtual trip this summer with the dcks. They each got to pick a state and we're starting next week. Our states are Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Vermont.
For some of the states I've got tons of ideas so far but could always use help, especially for Colorado and Missouri. So if anybody could help with projects, activities, etc., I would be forever and ever grateful!

Colorado you could make mountains with paper mache. Make skis out of cardboard. Raft down the Colorado river, make rafts with popsicle sticks. Missouri has the arch, caves with bats and creepy crawling things which you could make bats lizards and bugs and put up blankets over chairs for a cave. Worlds of fun, which is an amusement park and water park. This is just a quick list that I could think of there is a lot more I am sure.

      Great ideas ^^

Missouri has a lot of lakes, too (if you look up Lake of the Ozarks, it's a pretty cool looking piece of water). So to counter winter skiing in Colorado, you could do something related to water skiing for Missouri. The caves in Missouri are pretty cool.

Great ideas!! I think the paper mache mountains would be perfect for outdoors in the sensory table. And already collecting cardboard for skis.
So glad about the caves in Missouri, my dcks' favorite thing is setting up caves in the playroom. Will have to buy a couple more flashlights. So many ideas I can use, thanks!!

Anybody else? Even for any other other states? Hawaii, we're making grass skirts and volcanoes. Alaska, we're doing a couple fun sensory table activities, polar animals in ice, shaving cream with glitter. I bought salmon on sale. Kids are making banners for all the states. It's going to be fun! Thanks to whoever suggested it.
